Sonifying the Human Genome
Converting data from the UCSC Genome Browser into musical parameters, this work turns transposable elements from human reference GRCh38/hg38 into corresponding sound and visuals. Created in collaboration with scientists and bioinformaticians at the Center for Genomics & Systems Biology at NYU Abu Dhabi as part of a yearlong artist-in-residence position.
